Newest Electric Cars Entry – Mercedes
An official with Mercedes-Benz has told a German magazine that the luxury automaker is working on an electric car with a range of up to 311 miles.
Although Thomas Weber, development chief for Mercedes-Benz, provided few details, he said the company’s electric car would be available soon.
Mercedes is not alone in noticing Tesla’s success with electric cars. Other car makers are quickly entering into the fast growing electric cars market.
Audi will unveil its e-tron Quattro Electric car at this month’s Frankfurt auto show.
And BMW is reportedly developing an electric car based on its 5-series car.
Governments worldwide are looking towards electric cars for an answer to increased fuel economy and carbon emissions numbers
As a result, they are turning to electric cars – spurred by need and Tesla’s relative success with its Model S electric sedan.
